Urgent Inquiry into UK exit from Afghanistan needed

The Liberal Democrats are calling for an urgent inquiry into the Government’s handling of the evacuation of UK Nationals and Afghans from Afghanistan as the last British flight leaves Kabul. In a letter to Boris Johnson, Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey MP branded the UK withdrawal from Afghanistan as “the biggest British foreign policy disaster since the Suez Crisis”. Revised death toll shows case for public inquiry could not be stronger

Davey calls for independent inquiry into handling of coronavirus crisis

Ed Davey, Acting Leader of the the Liberal Democrats, has reiterated the need for the Government to continue to put all its energy into stopping the spread of coronavirus.
